This course provides an introduction to DNV-RP-C205 and will let the participants familiarise themselves with the necessary steps in the load assessment of marine structures.

Course description
The course covers wind, wave and current conditions and provides an overview of state-of-the-art methods for deriving corresponding loads on fixed and floating offshore structures.

Learning objective
Upon completion, participants will:

• Know where to find relevant recommendations in RP-C205 on environmental conditions and loads
• Know how to use the recommendations by simple application examples.
