In the one day course J2EE-Essentials an overview is given of the various components (Servlets, Java Server Pages and Enterprise Java Beans) and services offered by the J2EE platform. We will discuss transactions, persistency, session-states, deployment and re-use of components. We will also examine and explain the differences and similarities between J2EE and other architectures.

Prerequisites
For this course no other knowledge is required than an elementary knowledge of modern software development. We recommend knowledge of OO & UML on the level of the course OO & UML Essentials.
