Learning goals
After attending this intensive, hands-on masterclass you will have a deep knowledge of important security issues. You will be able to develop an information security policy and keep it up-to-date.

Programme
The masterclass comprises 2 parts, which can be followed separately. The first part is the official CISSP CBK Review Seminar, with the basic knowledge needed as a preparation for the CISSP®-exam. This part is concluded with the CISSP®-exam. Detailed information on the content of this part can be found in the official Study Guide. The first part is conducted in English.

The second part, 'Applying Security Management', specifically focuses on the applicability of security management into the daily practices in your own organisation; taking in account the local management, legal and cultural aspects that make or break the success of security measures. Participants will work on individual assignments, which is perceived as a valuable addition to the CBK Review Seminar. The second part is conducted in Dutch and is provided to the Dutch market only.

CISSP-title and CPE Credits
The obtained CISSP-certificate will give you the right to bear the CISSP-title. The CISSP-title is a well known title, which makes the bearer a recognizable professional in the market.

The title needs to be renewed every 3 years. It is required to gain 120 so called CPE-credits within the period of 3 years. This can be done by attending training, seminars, teaching, writing articles, etc. For extensive information about renewal of the CISSP title we recommend that you read the information on the website of our partner (ISC)² ™.

N.B: Attending Applying Security Management and completing the individual assignment in this part successfully, offers the possibility for participants, who earlier passed their CISSP exam, to gain a total of 48 CPE credits.

Locations
The CISSP CBK Review Seminar is available both in The Netherlands and in the UK (London).
