Description
The course covers installation, setups, database and file management, backups, restoring and migration of models in the first part.
Second part covers 3D concept modelling and 2D sketching.
Last part covers interfaces to DNV Software strength assessment tools, use of the drawing editor, drawing extractions from the concept model and project managements using Nauticus Early Design.
Learning objectives
After the course the participants will be able to install, configure and manage SmartMarine (SM3D) and Nauticus Early Design.
They will be able to import a faired hull according to requirements, model a 3D design concept model to be used for drawing extraction and interfaces with strength analysis. The user will also be able to use the 2D sketcher for modelling of construction details and drawing details.
After the last part the participants will be able to reuse the 3D concept model for classification, FE analysis and drawings generation.
