Drs. Annelies Kleijsen helps organisations in a pragmatic way to make knowledge effective to reach organisational goals.

Her main focus switched during the years from strategy development and organisational infrastructure to knowledge management. Linking knowledge management close to organisational objectives as a purpose for obtaining the organisational strategy especially fascinates Annelies.

She is now a teamleader in the KM team. She is involved in projects focusing on building centres of expertise or knowledge centers, in building knowledge strategies, in leaving expert theme’s and in organising and implementing effective ways to share, re-use and develop crucial knowledge.
Annelies has worked for non profit organisations as the Dutch ministries BiZa and V&W, RIVM, inspectorates as IGZ, AID, VROM Inspectie and VWA as well as for organisations like Sara Lee, Schuitema NV, and Akzo Nobel. Continuity management
Reserving corporate knowledge and productivity when employees leave, Beazley H., Boenisch J., Harden D., 2002, ISBN 0471219061.
A clear and vivid book on the recognition, retention and continued use of (organisational) knowledge when personnel leaves. The writers show clearly how important individual knowledge is, for example, by demonstrating how much this knowledge is part of the organisational system. If knowledge within this system leaves then there are glitches. This is a good book on the individual and organisational responsibilities when dealing with one of the most important organisational assets; knowledge.Lerend organiseren
Als meer van hetzelfde niet helpt, Wierdsma A., Swieringa J., 2002.
How can an organisation continue developing? This book gives concrete concepts and examples of organisations that are learning to learn this. A very practical, readable and, in particular, workable book on the principles of the learning organisation. For me a good guide to the knowledge management matters that I come across in my daily workLeiders, narren en bedriegers
Essays over de psychologie van het leiderschap, Kets de Vries M., 2003.
A book on management structures that, instead of focusing on the rational approach to control, uses various anecdotes and examples to analyse the irrational and subconscious motivations. An often neglected aspect is presented in an easygoing manner. This book provides a counterbalance to all other books on this subject, it is easy to read and is a refreshing change to your usual bedtime reading.
