Anett H. Valsvik is currently the manager for Food and Beverage Solutions in DNV Industry Norway. The manager role includes leading a group of 10 people by year end.
"My two main challenges," Anett says, "are growing the business in Norway and globally as well as attracting and retaining people in a very ‘hot’ job market in Norway".
Anett has a varied and global background from the public sector, the international financial sector and the consulting business. Work experience includes the Ministry of Oil and Energy in Norway, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), the Asian Development Bank in Manila and NORPLAN Consulting Engineers & Planners.
She also has extensive project manager experience from assignments abroad - both in Africa, Latin-America and Asia.
Anett has taken part in the first manager development programme; Port 1 in DNV, and is enrolled in Port 2 for this year. She has high ambitions for her future work. "I am looking forward to grow more business for DNV outside Norway," she says, “and I am also aiming for a future expat position.”
