Features

Depending on the work description, the delivery from our projects features either full stability documentation with hydrostatics, wind moments, tank capacities, MaxKG curves for both intact and damage stability, ballasting curves, shorelines, etc. In case of 3rd party verifications, we agree before starting the work on how detailed the final report should be. Our delivered stability documentation is good enough for class or authority approval. It is, however, the client’s responsibility to submit the documentation to the applicable approval body.

Process

After receiving the necessary drawings or other required documentation, we proceed with producing (our updating) a 3D model of the stability elements in the NAPA software. If wind heeling moments are not available from our client, we also build a 3D wind model in the NAPA software for wind heeling moment calculation according to the IMO standard. Further, analysis will be run and documentation made.
