Greener shipping – Baltic leadership
With the objective of saving the marine ecosystems in the Baltic Sea, several actions are being implemented; one of these is emission reduction requirements for the shipping industry. The Lloyd’s List Global Award for the shipping industry’s best innovation project 2011 was won by DNV. At a ceremony last night at the London Hilton Hotel, Chief Operating Officer Ioannis Kourmatzis accepted the award on behalf of DNV.
